I love everything about all the seasons in Australia, I really do. The bright beautiful sun in Summer, the crunching of the fallen leaves in Autumn, the cold and rain in Winter and the bright pops of colour in Spring. In true Perth style this past weekend dished us up some deliciously spectacular Blue skies and warm weather smack bang in the middle of Winter. It made for the perfect weekend which included hosting my nieces 1st birthday party – more of that to come later in the week – and a lovely catch up with the family again on Sunday to drink in the sun and celebrate my older brothers birthday. I had a big weekend filled with fun, love and laughter and am ready to head in to this weekend with a clear mind and smile on my face. As with every Monday, here is a snapshot of what is keeping me fanatically inspired at the moment from gorgeous flowers to flawless make up.
There is only one word to describe this amazing make up look and that is – flawless. F.l.a.w.l.e.s.s – I love everything about it. From the smoldering smokey eye that is done to perfection, down to the nude lip. I would emulate this look for any event.
I adore Peonies – & tulips and lillies in case you’re reading Mr M – but mostly Peonies. I always fill my house with fresh flowers but need to get my act together & try to get this kind of beautiful look going. It’s the right colour, right amount, right everything.
Audrey Hepburn always got it so right. From her style to her lady like touch but it’s this quote that I adore the most .. it’s true, even all these years later. So true.
Mr M the chef superstar has been whipping up some tantalizing soups recently that I have been happily devouring and I think a Chicken & vegetable one should be next on the menu, it looks amazing.
I have just found this beyond fab-u-lous ‘thing’ called Printstagram, it’s a website that prints all your instagram photos for you in groovy ways, like mini books, or on polaroids. Suffice to say I’m in love, and have ordered myself a few of my own prints of there for some cute little DIY’s.
I am so excited that we are moving to Australia, the seasons seem to be beautiful!
And I have to check out that printstagram for sure.
Oh how exciting!!! Where are you moving from? You’ll love it here – I’ll have to check out your blog to find out where you’re moving to (i.e. Melbourne? Perth? Sydney?) ..Perth is the best place to live in Aus, although that mayyyy be a bias opinion 😉
I also love changing seasons. There´s something wonderful about all of them. I hope your neice´s birthday was as beautiful as I think and everybody enjoyed it. You made my day with the Audrey Hepburn´s quote. Have a nice Monday. 😉
PS: Thank you very much for liking my style. It´s really an honour for me. 🙂
You’re welcome Eve! I love following girls blogs from all over the world like yours to see the fashion and styles and food & culture from every corner of the globe. You alwaysss look so lovely 🙂 xx

I love peonies to!
It must be so great to have a warmer day in-between the colder ones, we haven’t been having the usual freezing winter this year. Love that makeup look, it is perfection! The printed pics are such a cute idea! Lovely quote, I want to pin it up. Thanks for your comment, I haven’t been to Porto but driving through different parts of Portugal, its a stunning country on a whole and I am certain that every city is equally as amazing. Please do have the seafood when you’re there!
I emailed your comment to Morgs Sam as soon as I read it!! 🙂 He LOVES seafood – I love it just his the bigger fan of it in our relationship so I knew he’d be excited to hear of your suggestion for one of the countries we’re visiting. I honestly can’t wait to be over there now 🙂
That’s so cool that we share the same jar obsession 😉 hehehhe
Those Peonies are sublime, another of my favorite flowers 😉
Such beautiful pictures again… 🙂
Especially the quote from Audrey Hepburn. I’m in a tricky boyfriend situation right now, but the thing about being strong, even if everything goes wrong motivates me to go on, to fight for him. Thanks!
Oh man what a weekend we had! Weekends like that I think, yes Perth you stunner!
Gorgeous collection of photos, I’m a fan of that smokey eyes….too bad I only know how to wear eye shadow one way (cannot seem to master another??)
P.S these days, you can buy fake flowers from places like Spotlight that look SO real, you should check them out, totally worth it!
Perth was such a minx on the weekend huh!! The weather was so stunning indeed – and don’t worry about your eyeshadow I am probably the worst eye make up person in Perth haha, I just never wear it as I can’t do it properly so I love inspiration like this. YES I have my eye on a few places for fake flowers but I love walking in to the house and it smelling from fresh flowers 🙂 xo
Thanks for your visit on my blog it was so nice. I love Audrey’s quote she stills an icon after so many years that chicken looks yummy.
Have a wonderful day.
Kisses from Spain
Happy Monday! I do love peonies too, they are so full and chic. Wishing you a wonderful week (Perth is going on my places to visit list) xoxo
The makeup is truly flawless you’re right! I like the quote by Audrey Hepburn and aww this soup looks yummy, is it not amazing to have some chefs in our lives? Haha 🙂
I really like the quote by Audrey Hepburn. So true.
Peonies are my favourite flower, so gorgeous!
Pinterest posts are some of my favorite things to see on blogs! And yours doesn’t disappoint. I wish I could get away with that makeup, but for some reason, a nude lip makes me look like I’m half dead, ha. But looking at this photo, I think I need to try again!
Venessa I’m a bit the same with the nude lip but I’m determined to find the right nude for me – I think it comes down to putting a little shimmer or shine coat over the top to make it pop a little more. xx
Hey nice blog here, I’m your newest follower now! hope you will visit my blog too and follow me back if you like it!

I love that Audrey Hepburn quote, every single sentence. I still dont understand how some people cannot reason things in that manner. I mean life is too short so live it and be happy and laugh as much as possible, you never know when your last day is right. In today’s world you constantly hear about people young and old getting sick or worse which is why I am a firm believer of live life to the full xxx
Martha what a beautiful attitude you have! You can tell your this kind of person by visiting your blog, its always full of positive posts and oozes your zest for life 🙂 I agree wholeheartedly though xx
Love that pictures 🙂

It’s Printstagram great?! I’m also really loving stickygrams, our fridge door is being filled with them.
AHHH stickygrams?? I am going to have to look in to this one further! Morgs & I’s fridge is FULL of photos, so we sound similar with our ideas with our fridges 🙂 But I’d love to add to our collection x
