What’s on my Wednesday’s mind

  • Christmas
  • That impossible excitement that I get about time off, family, and general Christmas spirit.
  • Gosh I’d love to have a white Christmas just one year.
  • Hot hot hot days on the 25th December are completely the norm for me but I do have some inner craving to wake up rugged up in warm pyjama’s with snow falling outside.
  • I could have a warm cup of coffee.
  • Or maybe Eggnog. I’ve never tried Eggnog. Wait, I really need to try Eggnog.
  • Anyway, I’d sit by the window.
  • Smile quietly to myself as I think of the day ahead that will be full of family and eating.
  • Open some presents, steal some kisses from all my loved ones.
  • Rush outside to play in the snow.
  • You’re never too old for that right?
  • Gosh I hope not. I picture me in my thirties before I live my white Christmas dream.
  • I’ll always be the richest girl in the world if I have my dreams and my loved ones.
  • So here’s to dreams.
  • And Christmas cheer
xx

I also hope that you´re never too old for enjoying Christmas time and looking forward to it. As I live in the Czech rep. in Europe it suggests that there should be some snow during Christmas but it´s not really what always happens. So I share your white christmas dream 😉 xoxo Eve.h

Here’s hoping for snow this christmas down under – you never know with all this very strange seasonal mix-ups we are having. It’s freezing in London and by January I will be craving some sun.

I just love this time of year too! It’s like I live in an ABC Family Christmas movie or something! We live in VA and while we get a little bit of snow we actually got a white Christmas last year. It snowed on Christmas day! I’m not sure that has ever happened since I was little. It was magical!
BTW, we’d love for you to enter our latest Tokidoki giveaway if you haven’t. (Mendi is manning the list:-)) http://herlatenightcravings.blogspot.com/2011/12/tokidoki-giveaway.html
